Features
What the Evoque lacks in size it makes up for in technology. The InControl Touch Pro multimedia system gives you entertainment and connectivity wherever you decide to go and features a responsive 10-inch touchscreen display, rich visuals, a customizable home screen, and voice control. Once you listen to your favorite tunes in your Evoque, your living room might seem like it’s lacking. The Meridian digital surround sound system has 16 speakers and a dual-channel subwoofer to give you crystal clear sound inside an otherwise quiet cabin. Additionally, InControl apps and WiFi let you access your most used apps, while InControl remote gives you vehicle information – including location, fuel levels, and window status – while you’re away.

The 2017 Evoque is also equipped with advanced climate control, powered gesture tailgate that opens touch-free, and HomeLink universal garage door opener.

Styling

The Evoque is sure to stand out on the road, with oversized wheels, a tall, assertively designed front end, and sloping clamshell roof. Plus, you have the option between a two-door coupe, five-door, or convertible model, which is new this year. Inside, the design is simple for a distraction-free cabin that’s lined with high-quality materials and fine details, as you’d expect from Land Rover. Configurable ambient interior lighting sets the mood and increases visibility while getting in and out of your ride.

Safety

In addition to all of the standard safety equipment – including airbags, a rigid body design, anti-lock brakes, and traction and stability control – the Evoque also has a suite of driver assistance technologies available. Driver aids include full parking assist, surround camera system, blind-spot monitor, lane-keep assist with driver condition monitor, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition.

Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the 2017 Range Rover Evoque is packing a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that makes 240 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for manual control. All models have all-wheel drive.

The Evoque’s engine was specially designed to handle off-road conditions, and it also comes standard with a Terrain Response system and driver modes, including general, grass/gravel/snow, mud and ruts, and sand. Standard hill start assist and the All-Terrain Progress Control system make it even easier for you to traverse uneven terrain while staying safe.
