Review: 2019 Land Rover Discovery Sport

The new Discovery Sport is offered in four trims: SE, HSE, HSE Luxury, and the new Landmark Edition. Each of the trims are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Si4 engine teamed with a nine-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive. The engine produces 237-horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque in the SE, HSE and Landmark Edition trims, and generates 286-hp in the HSE Luxury grade. ECO driving mode adjusts settings to provide the most efficient fuel consumption and lowest emissions while Terrain Response® adapts to a variety of situations, such as snow, sand, or mud, to deliver the best ride.

Comfort and Technology

The 2019 Discovery Sport comes standard with second-row seats with slide and recline features with the option to add a third row. Perforated grained leather with heated and cooled front seats, heated second-row seats, heated steering wheel, configurable ambient lighting, and timed climate which can be preprogrammed or activated remotely, are all great options to enhance your comfort. Available are InControl┬« Apps™ which will link your smartphone to the 10-inch touch-screen so you can plan your adventure and organize your day, and InControl┬« Remote & Protect™ which allows you to remotely start your car, check the fuel level, or even find your car in a busy parking lot.
